Derivative Works Licensing Notice

Last updated: August 24, 2025

Defines rules for modifying or creating works based on our content.

Prohibition of Derivative Works

Create It Studio Architects ("The Firm") holds exclusive intellectual property rights in all content, designs, images, text, code, documents, and creative materials published on www.createitstudios.co.uk (the "Content").

Pursuant to global copyright and intellectual property statutes, including the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (UK), The Firm strictly prohibits the creation, production, or distribution of Derivative Works based on its Content without the express, prior written consent of an authorized representative of The Firm.

A Derivative Work is defined as any creative work, adaptation, or modification based upon or substantially derived from the original Content, including but not limited to:

  • Adaptation: Changing the medium or format (e.g., converting a site design into a print ad).
  • Remixing/Manipulation: Combining or altering original design elements or media.
  • Translation: Converting written text from one language to another.
  • Transformation: Modifying, editing, or repurposing the Content in any way that results in a new, separately copyrightable work.

Infringing Uses and Legal Recourse

Any attempt to create or distribute Derivative Works without written permission constitutes copyright infringement.

  1. Strict Prohibition: Except for limited uses explicitly permitted by law (such as Fair Dealing for critique), the creation, reproduction, or distribution of Derivative Works is strictly forbidden.
  2. Copyright Statutes: The Firm reserves its full rights under all applicable copyright laws to pursue legal remedies, including injunctions and claims for damages, against any individual or entity that violates this Notice.

Disclaimer of Liability

The Firm disclaims all responsibility and liability for any damages, losses, or legal claims arising from a user's unauthorized creation, use, or distribution of Derivative Works based on the Content. Users who proceed with such activities do so solely at their own risk and assume all responsibility for any resulting copyright infringement claims.

Severability

If any provision of this Notice is deemed unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, then that provision shall be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
